Abstract

A lowering rod, having a closure pad, for a blind comprises three chambers, one over the other. The top chamber is for attachment to the blind the middle one for reception of a weighting material and the lower one for attachment of the pad. The pad is made of soft, very elastic PVC and is of circular or oval cross-section. Preferably an Al angle stop is positioned at the level of the lower chamber.
