Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a roller blind arrangement for covering windows, window niches and the like, the lateral edges of the roller blind being fixed in the lowered state.
The use of roller blinds for privacy, decorative purposes and sound insulation has long been known. Another aspect of the use of roller blinds, namely that of thermal insulation, has recently been gaining increasing interest, in particular from the point of view of saving heating costs. The invention is directed to a roller blind arrangement in which the heating cost savings that can be achieved are particularly large.
This object is achieved in that in the arrangement according to the invention one fixed vertical bar is provided in the vicinity of the roller blind edge, on the outer edge region of which a movable bar is pivotally articulated to bear against the fixed bar.
The arrangement of the invention ensures that the roller blind edge is pressed sufficiently firmly against a wall over its entire length without leaving lateral areas on which the roller blind is not in contact and which could cause heat loss. The roller blind cannot be removed from its installation on the wall even by drafts or the like. Finally, the arrangement of the invention can also be used in cases where several blinds are provided for the same window, e.g. a first roller blind for visual and thermal protection and a second roller blind on the room side for decorative purposes.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the movable bar is spring-loaded. The movable bar is pressed against the vertical bar by the spring force and thus secures the roller edge. By overcoming the spring force, the movable bar can thus be removed somewhat from the fixed bar in order to retract the edge of the roller blind when lowering it or to release the edge for raising the roller blind.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, one of the strips, e.g. the fixed bar, a magnetic tape strip and the other bar a corresponding metal strip. The magnetic or metal strips are arranged so that they hold the movable bar on the fixed bar. Such an arrangement ensures a secure mounting of the roller blind edges. Such a magnetic closure can, however, also be supplemented or supported by the spring-loaded design of the movable bar already mentioned.
According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the roller blind has a plastically or elastically deformable sealing strip on its lower horizontal edge. As a result, heat is transported through the space between the lower edge of the Rolios and a contact surface, e.g. a window sill, largely turned off.
Further features of the invention will become apparent from the following description, reference being made to the drawings.

The folding bar according to Figures 3 and 4 consists of the
A spring-loaded embodiment of the folding bar can be seen from FIGS. 5 and 6. The fixed and the movable bar (6, 8) are held together by a hinge and continue to be pressed against each other by a
The embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8 relates to a folding bar, in which the individual bars are in turn held together by magnetic or
Das Lösen des Rollos aus der Klappleiste erfolgt wiederum durch Verkanten der Unterleiste 17.The embodiment shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 essentially corresponds to that of FIGS. 7 and 8, but instead of a metal ash, a cord 1-9 is provided in the
