Appts. for producing hot gases which consists of a combination of a plasma - producing unit designed to produce a plasma flow in a given direction in the interior of an enclosure and >=1 rotary mixer formed from >=1 tube provided with lateral, fluid-injection orifices and designed, to be supplied with this fluid at the level of its axis of rotation, the mixer being mounted in the enclosure in such a way that at least a part of the rotating tube can be caused to intersect the plasma flow during each revolution of the mixer.
