Abstract
A sepn. filter for wet processing of fine granular material, comprising 2 non-magnetic vessels, one used for extracting the minerals from the slurry, the other for washing the extract with water, with electro-magnetic coils for magnetising the ferromagnetic filtering elements has the following features; an electromagnetic coil in each vessel among the ferromagnetic elements; and a distributor group rotatably mounted above the 2 vessels about their vertical axis of symmetry, this group alternately feeding water and slurry into each vessel. The pref. ferromagnetic filter material is steel balls or ribbed steel plates, coated with hydrophobic film.
