Abstract

The bottles contain at least one polymer layer contg polyolefin, grafted to an unsatd. carboxylic acid, ester anhydride, amide, imide or metal salt of these as monomer. The polyamide and polyolefin layers are extruded into a partitioned mould from separate extruders and blow moulded. The thin layer of polyamide is strongly adhered to the modified polyolefin layer increasing its mechanical strength and forming bottles which are org. solvents resistant, gas impermeable and transparent and used for storing org. solvents, food and drink and medicines depending on layer sequence used.
