Abstract

Devices is intended for a dosing system in which a liq is fed into a recipient under press and is subsequently withdrawn; the device is more partic. for use with a brine tank for a water-softening plant. During regeneration the quantity of salt used in each phase is adjusted exactly so as to avoid excessive consumption. The brine tank has a compartment with a perforated base for receiving the salt and water enters under press; the valve allows the determined quantity of brine to pass into the ion exchanger without the need for multiple valves with their associated and complicated controls.
