Abstract

Electrophotographic plate with a photoreceptive member comprises a photosensitive material (I) and an active transport medium (II), (I) and (II) together being capable of supporting photoproducing charges in (I). (I) is chosen from the polynuclear quinones e.g. anthraquinone, pyranthraquinone, dibenzpyrenequinone etc. and their halogenated derivs. (II) is a transport medium for electrostatic charges and is non-absorbent in the region of 4000-6000 angstrom.
