Abstract

The gas content of insulating oil is measured continuously by passing it over a plate column which receives the oil from and discharges it to a vessel with a level maintained at constant heights. The oil passes over the plates in a film, release its included gas and the resulting partial vapour press. is measured by a vacuum manometer.
