Abstract

The trolley runs on a non-continuous track such that internal shields can be placed to cut off any section. It holds a vessel which is raised and locked by a bayonet type holder in openings in the base of each part. The vessel is fixed in a casing on an upper platform of the trolley and is raised and lowered as follows. There are two pairs of parallel rods, perpendicular to each other, such that the lower pair slide on four fixed vertical guide rods the upper pair slide on the two lower rods and the upper platform slides on the upper rods. Thus three directions of movement are obtained, and also the vessel can be rotated by cogs so that the casing fits into conical bearings in the base of the chamber at the same time as the vessel fits into its bayonet socket.
