Abstract

Anchorage well for accepting a 'g' sling hook for lifting concrete beams or panels where the well comprises an open-topped trough traversed by a beam set in the concrete on either side and to which a lifting hook can be secured. Pref. the well of polypropylene is moulded to provide ribs on its outer faces and annular lips which will form a seal about any one of several different sizes of lifting beams which may be used. Moulded ribs allow support at various heights and angles to suit moulds for a variety of concrete shapes. The flexible lips suit various strengths of lifting beam without admitting concrete to the well during casting.
