Abstract

The paper is formed from incompletely regenerated viscose fibres which may be expanded by 800-10,000% and have a water content of 600-6000%; and is embossed to produce (1) high density thin or perforated zones; (2) relatively high density thick zones; and (3) zones of original thickness and density. The thick or thin zones may be continuous. The paper has good touch characteristics and has a high resistance to tearing.
