Stable complexes of corticotrophic peptides contain a) an active peptide, pref. with the first 18-39 amino acids of ACTH, or active analogues, b) a complex forming heavy metal salt or polyaminoacid (1 mol)c) an amine (deriv) (0.01-5 mol), and/or d) an Al salt-Al2Cl6,Al2 (SO4)3 or Al(OAc)3 (0.025-10 mol) and opt. e) buffers, isotomic additive, antiseptics etc. The prepns. have prolonged activity and an enhanced stability.
