Abstract

A part of ammonia produced in this process is volatilised and re-introduced into the gases leaving the reactor (before the condensation station) to increase the NH3 content in the gas mixture 1.1-4 times whereby the dew point is raised and the solubility of the inert gases in the liquified ammonia is increased. By this method, accumulation of inert gases (Ar and CH4) in this circulated gas mixture is prevented.
