Abstract
Suitable for measurement of gas or liquid densities, the densitometer includes a radioactive source and two detectors placed so as to receive direct and dispersed radiation respectively. The radioactivity prevents fouling by marine organisms in sea-water; the appts. is small, robust and has long life, as required for use in automatic stations.
