Abstract

Agricultural chemicals are dispersed in the air by mixing them with dicyandiamide (I) either alone or with ammonium nitrate (II), and heating the mixture. The method may be used to apply systemic and non-systemic insecticides, insect ovicides, fungicides and plant growth regulants, e.g. for application of O,O-dimethyl-S-(2-ethylsulphinyl ethyl)phosphorothioate in greenhousees to prevent insect attack.
