Plastic tubular mast for all kinds of lamps, e.g. street lighting, for roof columns, aerials as well as traffic signs, in which the supporting part consists of an integral foamed material with a smooth resistant surface and reinforcing elements, embedded in the foam. Pref. the body consists of a 2 - 3 mm. thick layer of a thermoplastic e.g. polycarbonate, a 6 - 7 mm. thick layer of an integral foam of greater density (gamma 0.8), and 15 - 30 mm. thick layers of integral foam of less density (gamma 0.3). Opt. the body is of glass fibre reinforced polyester or polyamide layers and integral foam layers.
