Acaricidal compns. contain cpds. of formula (I): (where X is H, halogen pref. Cl or Br, NO2 or NH2; n is 1-4, and R is H or -CONHR1, R1 being 1-4C alkyl or Ph). (I) are active against Tetranychus which show strong resistance to acaricidal phosphoric esters and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
