Abstract

Compsns. contg. lactulose (I) and Cytochrome C (II) or hematoporphyrin are active in the treatment of nephropathic acidosis auto-toxic conditions such as diabetes. They also aid medicaments having a vitamin P activity in the treatment of atherosclerosis. The dosage is 0.050-0.070 g (I), 1-12 times daily, administered orally or parenterally. Typically, tablets were prepd. contg. 0.070 g (I), 2 mg (II), and 0.10 g. alpha-chymotripsin, together with conventional excipients.
