Abstract

Moulding a cluster of artificial flowers as a group radiating from a common injection stalk. Each flower is moulded against an insert mounted on a column and spring loaded to rise and tilt to release the undercut petals as the mould opens. For mfg. synthetic clusters of flowers such as begonias in a single moulding instead of fastening individually moulded blossoms to their stalks and/or each other.
