Abstract
This consists of zinc oxide particles, sensitised by a dye, in a liquid carrier for sensitising a charged conductor layer of an electrophotographic material. Pref. dyes are Patent Blue V, Rose Bengal, Aluramine O and 5-(1-ethyl-1:4-dihydro-4-pyridylidene)-2-(3-sulphapropylthio)-2-t- hiazoline-4-one. The liquid may also contain a charge regulating agent, pref. ferric stearate and an antioxidant. Used as a positively charged development bath in colour electrophotography.
