Abstract
Coating compsn. esp. for coating building elements, contains 10-40% by wt. of an unsatd. polyester resin formed from an unsatd. polyester of an unsatd. polycarboxylic acid and a polyhydric alcohol and at least 1 unsatd. cross-linking monomer, and 60-90% by wt. of a filler compn. contg. a water-insol. silicate filler and particles of hydrated Al2O3, these particles making up at least 5% of total wt. of coating compn. and having a size distribution such that a major part passes through a U.S. standard sieve No. 40 but is retained by a U.S. STandard sieve No. 325.
