Abstract

Blended fibre fabric. Manufacture of a heat-deformable blended fabric from staple fibres, continuous yarns and/or split fibres and flat yarns, by weaving together a first yarn system from staple fibre, continuous yarn and/or split yarn and flat yarn with a second yarn system of flat yarns, in which the yarns of the first system are bonded into one or both sides of the fabric, and the flat yarns are subsequently crimped at 70-5 degrees C, pref. 40-10 degrees C below its softening point, ofr 30 secs. - 4 hrs., pref. 45 secs. - 30 mins.
