Abstract

A cap for a container where the contents can harden following evaporation of a solvent has a body which seals the container and a sponge, pref. polyurethane foam, soaked with glycerine and/or alcohol, and pref. a subsidiary plugged hole for filling the container. A wick allows transfer of liquid (alcohol) gradually between the container and the sponge chamber. A cover interlocked with the body can partly rotate to align windows for releasing the container contents. Maintains the concentration of solvent (alcohol) inmaterial which might otherwise dry out and block the outlets.
