Abstract
The alloys comprises (wt. %): Cr 2-24, Mn 7-14, Si 3-8, the balance being Ni. Opt. 0.05-4.0% Mo and 0.05-1.0% B are added. The alloy is cast into a glass test tube and drawn with it to form an insulated microwire. The microwires have stable chemical composition and electrical properties (relatively high resistance and low thermal coefficient thereof).
