Abstract

Two component thermoformed mouldings made using equipment which dispenses groups of the larger element onto a conveyor whose path is crossed by the sheet in which the complementary part has been thermoformed so that matching groups of the second element are simultaneously released and mated with the first component. Esp. useful for making double wall caps. Makes use of the surplus web of the second component instead of extra machinery to control alignment.
