Abstract

Sewing needle for linking machine has a yarn groove running longitudinally on one side of the shaft and a flat on the opposite side, and is placed in the neelde holder so that a shoulder of the groove lies along the deepest point of the bed needle frame, and the groove runs parallel to a bounding wall of the frame, as in the parent patent. The groove is bounded only on one side by the shoulder, and the other side runs straight from the floor of the groove outwards to the enveloping surface of the needle.
