Abstract
The tilting apparatus incorporates a mounting frame for the ingot mould and diametrically opposed pivot pins attached to the frame. The frame has a base, and fixed and movable lateral sections. The movable lateral section is designed to be tilted into an approximately horizontal position to allow freedom of movement to the mould.
