Abstract

In a semi-automatic pressure cooker, esp. for roasting chickens and chicken portions, a rectangular, heatable container is provided with a sealing cover and a rectangular frame which has horizontal guides set one above the other to hold the rectangular grills on which the food is placed. The frame containing the chicken portions is then passed into the container which is filled with fat. The sealing cover through which the frame is passed can be raised and lowered by driving means.
