Abstract
Sliding clasp fastener has a pair of plastics coiled coupling element sewn to a pair of textile tapes and the end strips of the fastener are produced by forming a crease in the textile and adhering or welding it to the coupling element. The textile thus forms a dimple which is hit by the sliding clasp.
