Abstract
Bakers dough is subjected to division by geometrical progression, in a ratio of two, in identical assemblies. The dough is tipped onto a pivoting chassis, with two conveyors, it advances first one belt and then on the other. When an equal amount arrives on each belt the chassis becomes horizontal and a blade descends and cuts the dough into two equal portions. These portions pass to the other assemblies where they are treated in a similar manner. The device does not compress the dough and therefore does not interfere with the subsequent fermentation process.
