Abstract

Apparatus having a heating element and a device for applying and clamping the two walls of the bag against the heating element, comprises a support for the heating element, internal devices to apply heat and a pressing bar normally separated from the heating element but capable of application to it by deformation of a spring blade. The pressing bar is pref. of an elastically deformable material, pref. silicone rubber. The apparatus is easily and cheaply constructed and is portable.
