Abstract

A honeycomb mould comprises multiple cells with dividing walls castellated at the top so that liquid in the mould fills the cells to a common level. The mould is lined with cellulose film formed with pocket corresponding to the cells, the pockets are filled with edible fluid such at fruit puree, ice cream etc. and the mould placed in a freezer. The complete set of frozen portions may be easily handled; one or more portions may be detached by breaking the film at a dividing wall, and the remaining portions returned to the freezer.
