Abstract

Sley and pincer device are driven positively in 2 directions. The pincer moves when the sley is stopped, and is reciprocated by an element on the machine frame which does not participate in the sley's movement. Sley and pincer device are driven by the same shaft on which are two twin curved discs driving the pincer device. The axes of the two follower pulleys are rigidly connected together.
