1397839 Centrifugal separator INTERNATIONAL EQUIPMENT CO 9 Nov 1972 [22 Nov 1971] 51642/72 Heading B2P [Also in Division F2] A shaft construction comprises a flexible shaft 13 (e.g. with a length:diameter ratio between 15:1 and 30:1) surrounded by a rigid tube 15 for part of its length (and may have a resilient sleeve 14, e.g. of natural or synthetic rubber, sandwiched between the shaft and the tube; for connecting a motor 11 to a centrifuge rotor 10).
