Abstract

Fruit crate comprises thick end-walls, rigid but thinner side walls connected thereto and expanded plastic, pref. polystyrene, bottom with relieved surfaces. Crates stack with engaging projections and recesses to prevent lateral sliding, with holes and gaps providing ventilation.
