Abstract

Two concentric walls delimit an annular treatment chamber. A turning annular bottom beneath the lower end of the chamber supports material in it and is spaced from the bottom of the walls, to enable material to be removed. The support and drive for the bottom are mounted in an annular trough beneath the bottom. Sealing joints between the edges of the trough and the bottom form an isolated mounting for the treatment chamber in which coolant can be circulated.
