Abstract

Concentric with a shaft are an element rotationally fast to it, e.g. an axle cone or arm or suspension arm, and an element which turns around the shaft, such as a shaft and/or a hub, integral with the wheel. One mount of each pair is coated with a plastic film, e.g. PTFE based, with a very low friction coeff. against metal, and one is a thin metal journal bearing resting on a thick elastic elastomeric cushion.
