Abstract
Thermal fuel cell has a negative electrode of a highly electronegative metal and a positive electrode formed of a metal support pref. W or Mo coated on at least one face with a porous oxide contg. metal layer pref. W + WO2, separated by a capillary structure contg. a solidified electrolyte which liquefies when the cell is in operation but is non-conductive when solid.
