Corrosion inhibitor for use in oil refinery equipment. Comprises (A) an amide of (a) an amine of is not > 20C atoms of general formula H2N - (R1-NH)n - R2 in which R1 is a 2-6C alkyl gp, R2 is H or hydroxyl-, alkyloxy-, carbalkoxy-, or acyloxy group substd. hydrocarbon residue, n is a number 1-5, (b) aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, (c) a 2-12C dicarboxylic acid neutralized with (d) an oxalkylated amine. (B) an alcohol of acetylene series of its derivative, (C) a dialkylamide of a C12- C18 fatty acid (D) distillation residues from oxosynthesis.
