Abstract

Runner is corrosion-resistant and is roll or thermally hardened. The outer edge, subjected to greater wear stresses, has a limited hardening, or a complementary partial hardening applied to it, and/or a metastable austenitic structure produced by 2-stage surface hardening. Pref. the additional hardening is by plasma.
