Abstract

The apparatus of the kind in which the hose is disposed around one end of a horizontally mounted transparent hollow cylinder (1) for inspection and; (2) for lock-stitching the toe, includes an air pump/value arrangement so that the hose, after inspection, is sucked along the inside of the cylinder at-such a speed as to eject it from the other end, against pref. a deflection plate which cause the hose to drop into a receptacle. Pref. the air pump is actuated in response to pivoting of the cylinder about a vertical axis.
