Abstract
The gas mixture contains, at least, one impurity, which is retained by a primary absorbant, and two other main compounds which are totally separated. Alternatively one of the latter can be enriched by passage through a secondary absorbant, different from the first. The gas mixture is introduced to one end of a column, and passes successively through primary and secondary absorbing layers. Part of the main compound which has been through the secondary absorbant, is collected. By vacuum expansion, the gases which are still in the absorbants, pass through the latter to desorb. This partic. desorbs the primary absorbant using the cycle's heat adsorption. These operations can be repeated in short cycles. Specif. impurities are steam or CO2.
