Abstract

A closure device for holding a door 1 in a casing 2 and which acts alternatively as a hinge or as a closure comprises a spring element 4a-f one end of which (4a) is ratatably fitted on a pin held by the rolled edge 2c of the casing, the other end portion 4c, 4d and 4e being shaped so as to urge the door towards the edge of the closure. If two such devices are used on opposite edges of the door, movement of the spring in the direction "F" on one closure allows that closure to open but the other functions as a hinge the edge of the door moving around the edge portion 2a of the closure against which it is urged.
