Abstract
A measuring instrument (200) for determining an anatomical measurement point comprises an alignment point (101 ) for aligning a first end of the measuring head with a first anatomical reference site, as well as a first scale (102) for determining a first reference measurement point on said first scale from among a plurality of reference measurement point candidates (102a-102c), said first reference measurement point corresponding to some other anatomical reference site. In addition, the measuring instrument (200) comprises a second scale (103), which corresponds to said first scale (102) and which comprises a measurement point (103a-103c) matching at least said reference measurement point for the determination of said anatomical measurement point.
