Abstract

The invention relates to a restrictor (1) for controlling air pressure in a liner (2) slipped into a pipeline. The restrictor comprises a guide frame (3) in which a restricting element (4) is movably arranged in such a way that the restricting element (4) moves in relation to the guide frame (3) guided by a guide element (5). The guide frame (3) and the restricting element (4) together define an opening (6) through which a liner (2) passes to traverse the restrictor (1). The size of the opening (6) is adjustable by moving the restricting element (4) in relation to the guide frame (3) in such a way that the liner (2) being arranged to pass through the opening (6), the liner (2) is compressible between the guide frame (3) and the restricting element (4) for closing the liner (2) in a substantially gas tight manner at the restrictor.
