Abstract

The subject matter of the invention is an item of furniture for computer equipment, the keyboard table panel of which is pushed in under the table panel. The furniture side panels with shelving level can also be swivelled under the table panel. In this way the working area with a table panel of 1700 mm x 700 mm is folded to an area of 700 mm x 500 mm. There is also space under the furniture side panels, for example, for printers, files and various accessories. When closed, the furniture harmonizes with the other furnishings, with nothing externally that might suggest a computer. All that can be seen at the back of the furniture is an electrical lead and a telephone line. The furniture is easy to move thanks to the castors, of which the front ones are pivotable and lockable. It takes less than 10 seconds to open the furniture to a substantial workstation, but short operations can be performed by rolling up the roll front and pulling out the keyboard.
