Abstract

The heating requires at least one heating element, located in the stator housing (1) of the electrical machine, having an associated clamp ring (3) which fits into a corresponding annular groove around the inside surface of the stator housing. The clamp ring has support lugs (4) projecting in the axial direction of the machine, via which the at least one heating cable acting as the heating element is secured in the peripheral direction of the clamp ring. Pref. the support lugs have reception grooves for locating the heating cable.
