Abstract

This application concerns an electronics and instrumentation box which comprises a lower part 5 with corner towers 7 and a cover 1 with corner towers 3, which cover is mounted on the lower part by means of hinges which comprise an upper half 8 and a lower half 13. In order that the fixing of the hinges is to be simple and in order for the hinges to allow the cover 1 to close tightly on the lower part 5 and for the hinges not to take up room in the box, it is characteristic of the box that the upper half 8 of the hinge is attached at the opening 2 in the corner tower 3 of the cover 1, while the lower half 13 of the hinge is attached at the opening 6 in the corner tower 7 of the lower part 5, that the upper half 8 of the hinge comprises an upper hinge part 9 which is attached to a fixing plug 10, 10' in the opening 2 of the corner tower of the cover in such a way that it does not extend the corner tower, for which purpose an incision 4 is made in the corner tower of the cover, that the lower half 13 of the hinge comprises a lower hinge part 14 provided with an opening 18 which lower hinge part is attached in the opening 6 of the corner tower 7 of the lower part. <IMAGE>
