Abstract

The corner joint consists of two legs (4) which are designed as extruded profile sections with identical cross-section and are cut out of an extruded profile at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the profile. The extruded profile sections are "on turning over" inserted into one another and connected positively. The aim of the invention is to design the extruded profile in such a manner that production of the profile sections, which engage positively in one another and form the corner joint legs, can be carried out with normal tolerances. This aim is achieved in that there is provided, exclusively on one narrow side of the extruded profile running parallel to the longitudinal axis of the profile, a profiling forming the connecting surfaces, and the two extruded profile sections forming the legs of the corner joint can be assembled positively with the profiled narrow sides.
