The arrangement comprises a fastening frame 3, which can be detachably fixed to a lifting device 5 of a vehicle 4, such as an implement, truck or the like; an elongated, telescopic arm 6 of adjustable reach, which is connected to the fastening frame 3; an unrolling device 7, which is connected to the free end of the arm 6 for unrolling the protective covering over the object that is to be protected, and rolling it back onto the roll. <IMAGE>
